A change of perspective regularly takes place between our trainees and the nursing students at the senior citizens’ centre in Laubach. The nursing students visit our site in Laubach and get an insight into the typical activities of an industrial mechanic at Römheld. Our trainees gain an insight into the activities of a nurse at the senior citizens’ centre. During this exchange, everyone gets many new impressions and can think outside the box. In December 2018, the nursing students built a rose pyramid with our trainees during their visit to our company in Laubach.

The trainees involved brought the joint “rose pyramid” project to the senior citizen’s centre on their return visit with their training manager Maximilian Dietz. Not only the nursing students are enthusiastic about what has been created, but also the residents. We and our trainees appreciate this exchange very much. We are happy that our trainees and the nursing students could have this experience and hope for many more such projects.
